Hi All,
Firstly a big thank you to all the Marshals that turned out in unpleasant weather Tim, Rich C and Paul, Phil and Liz, Gaff and Dave and Doreen (who also spent all afternoon putting out code boards and working around road closures).
Thanks also to all who entered. We were a little worried when the heavy snow started on the first section but fortunately the weather improved as the evening wore on.
We had some last minute route changes due to 3 road closures but all went OK in the end, We hope you enjoyed it. We needed to be tight on lateness and strict on OTL to get to the results venue before closing time.
Congratulations to Martin and Adam who only missed 3 code boards despite all those LWT’s. Congratulations also to Kev and Rich and Dave and Emily for a well fought event. We know that Kamila was disappointed at the finish, but guys you put up a tremendous result on Novice instructions on only your third event and judging by the conversation between Wictor and Martin at the finish, Wictor will learn a lot from this event and undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with in the future. Well done also to Josh and Ollie on the finish and sticking with it on this their first event.
Commiserations to Phil and Nick and especially to Andrew and Hilary who retired just a few miles before the finish control. I hope you’re feeling better today Hilary take some Stugeron 15 next time out!
The next round is on Friday 15th February organised by Jon Smith details to follow.

Hi All,
Round 3 of the Winter Series is just over a week away on Friday 18th January. It is being run on our behalf by Cirencecter Car Club and is also a round of their Winter Series. Please sign on at the Cheltenham Clubhouse from 18:45. The route is approximately 60 miles on Map 163 with a very short section on 162 for which a print of the area will be supplied so no need to bring 162 if you haven’t got one. The finish will be just outside Cirencester with refreshments at the Thames Head Inn afterwards. Please indicate your intention to enter via www.Cheltmc.com on the 12 Car Navigational page. There are currently 6 cars listed so places are limited to another 6. If you are a beginner planning work from a marked Map please arrive in good time to sign on and copy the route as there is a 15 minute run out to the start with first car away at 20:01.
Regards
Dave Gregory
