The Motor Sports Association is changing. We are now Motorsport UK.
The Motor Sports Association (MSA) has a new identity. I am pleased to introduce you to Motorsport UK. We think this better reflects our remit – to represent the whole spectrum of four-wheel motorsport, from grassroots to the elite, and in all four countries of the UK.
This marks the start of an ambitious new phase for motorsport in the UK. The change of name and rebranding is about so much more than a new logo. It represents a fundamental repurposing of the organisation, from one acting purely as the regulator and administrator of our sport, to one that places the promotion and marketing of the sport, and customer service at the front and centre of everything we do.
In becoming Motorsport UK, we adopt a bold new vision, mission, and objectives. We want to drive growth across the broad landscape of UK motorsport, lowering barriers to entry and making it less of a challenge to stay in the sport you love. This is to deliver our vision of a sustainable future for the sport; and ensure that the world-leading success story of UK motorsport continues well into the future.
Motorsport UK will be a more visible and engaged governing body than ever, campaigning on the issues that matter to our members, whether they are competitors, volunteers, clubs or fans. We will also be ensuring that you have better access to the team at Motorsport UK House, so that we can better understand the challenges you face. And act on them on your behalf.
Within the next couple of days, you should receive a pack with more details on the Motorsport UK membership proposition, and how we are working to bring added value to you. Should you have any queries regarding your membership of Motorsport UK, please do not hesitate to contact our Membership Services Team who are here to help.
In the meantime, please take a few minutes to watch our short film, which explains a little more about the new focus. And may I take this opportunity to thank you for your membership of Motorsport UK, and support for the future of our great sport.
Best wishes,
Hugh Chambers
