The clubhouse is open every evening from 6:00pm*. Monday’s generally sees the motorsport ‘full member’ crowd in and to a lesser extent so does Friday. We also host meetings of two local motorcycle groups, home brewers, cycling and the local Hash House Harriers (a drinking club with a running problem).
Whilst we have ‘Full’ and ‘Associate’ members from far and wide it is ‘local’ members who frequent the club where one and all enjoy a comprehensive and varying range of real ales, Not only does the recently modernised bar area have a great atmosphere, it’s prices for anything from a hot drink to a pint of the best you can get and all at a very reasonable price. Anyone visiting the club on more than three occasions will be asked to take ‘Associate’ membership.
It isn’t just us raving about the club. Our resident Steward Neil has been with us since 2005 and, with the support of the club’s management committee we have been CAMRA (campaign for Real Ale) club of the year in 2013, 2017 and 2020. There are 28,000 licenced CAMRA clubs in the UK and we are the first Club ever to win on a third occasion.

We also stock real cider and a range of wines.

* Opening times can vary

Wheel Ale Festival – a regular event on the Club calendar

Normally held around the third Saturday in September

With a large selection of beers, a BBQ & covered outdoor seating, it’s always a nice party atmosphere.

It’s free entry to Club members,  members of the public are asked to purchase tickets beforehand.

The “Magic Bus” outings visit local pubs and breweries, usually on a Tuesday evening once a month during the summer.

Longer trips normally on a Saturday, with visits to beer festivals, or Black country or Forest of Dean tours.

Trips are usually organised to the Great British Beer Festival in Olympia, London (these are normally on a week day)

These trips are very popular. Book early to avoid disappointment.

On a less regular basis the “CMC Charabanc Tours” are days out for club members, family & friends, to a motoring/motorsport, engineering or historical point of interest (E.G. Drakelow Tunnels, Kinver Edge, Morgan Cars Factory, Bicester Heritage, Oxford), followed by a  beer & meal on the way home.

Pool & Darts We have our own Darts and Pool teams in the Cheltenham Leagues.
